Academic Intervention Service
Additional instruction which supplements the instruction provided in the general curriculum and assists students in meeting the New York State learning standards.
AIS may be offered during the regular school day and school year, or may be provided through an extended regular school day or extended school year.
Parents/legal guardians will be notified in writing as to the academic services being provided, reason for the services and consequences of student not achieving expected performance levels. Termination of services will also be communicated to parents in writing. |
